Wags 'n Whiskers, #6 use your dies

This is it, the last Wags 'n Whiskers challenge untill the new year. In the next couple of weeks we are having a little break from challenges and are taking some family xmas time! This weeks challenge is hosted by the sweet Lacey and she has challenged us to use dies or punches on our cards. Because of my crush on Quickutz I ofcourse used some Quickutz dies on my card:-)

And again a not xmas related card, I'm getting in the mood for Valentines with all the gorgeous  Valentine's stamps being released at the moment
This is not a new stamp but nevertheless I think it's a darling Belles 'n Whistles stamp to make a a card for a sweet friend. (Or perhaps an invitation for a little girls birthday!) I got mine at Bunny Zoe's Crafts and together with the gorgeous My Mind's Eye designpaper they make a lovely match.

Magnolia, Oops...belated bday!

Alhoewel ik er nog steeds geen genoeg van heb toch is het heerlijk om even niet met een kerstkaartje bezig te zijn, afgelopen zaterdag viel de Magnolia Winter&Christmas Raising the Ceiling Collection 2009 op de mat. De stempels die hierin zitten zijn weer helemaal leuk en naar mijn smaak! Voor een belated BDay kaart heb ik gekozen voor dit "Oops" Tildaatje. Lang niet alle Magnolia stempels vind ik persoonlijk geschikt voor de 3D techniek maar bij deze stempel "past" het gewoon en was het niet moeilijk te bepalen welke laagjes- en hoe er geknipt moest worden. Ben Mariska nog steeds zéér dankbaar voor de herontdekking van deze techniek (Hi Maris *waving*)

Op deze foto kun je goed zien dat ik gebruik heb gemaakt van laagjes. Het jurkje plus mouw heb ik gestempeld op designpapier, uitgeknipt en opgeplakt met foamblokjes. Gezichtje met pony, vleugeltjes en handje zijn ook uitgeknipt en opgeplakt met foamblokjes.

Elzybells Art Stamps, challenge 33

 

Yeah time for another Elzybells Art Stamps challenge! *Ahum* well the challenge has been up for some time at the Elzybells Blog but I hadn't earlier time to play. I always love the Elzybells challenges because they make you think outside the box:-P This time the challenge is to create a xmas gift or packaging. I've done both, made a gift for a sweet friend and created for this gift a packaging;-) As you know I love making little gifts for friends, it's always a joy to put a smile on someone's face if they receive something home made. Especially when a friend could use a little extra because of going through rough times...

Okay back to the challenge. I've bought this cute little matchbox at a dutch store "Action" (don't ya love the shape of it, I've never seen a triangel shaped matchbox before!) and decorated it with Kraft cardstock, designpaper and ofcourse a sweet Elzybells image. To go along with this present I've put some tea lights in a cellofane bag and made a tag from Kraft on top of it. To make these gifts a real set, I've used the same button and sentiment.

Wags 'n Whiskers, release day!!!

Yes, it's release day at Wags 'n Whiskers! I hope you have enjoyed all the sneak peeks over the last couple of days from all the DT girls, I sure have! The card I am showing you today is made with my favorite image from this release "He Loves Me", she's looking so romantic...I know I've said it before but Crissy Armstrong has done such an amazing job again drawing the children from Lacey and Nikki this way, WOW!

Claudia/Inge Challenge-decorated gift(box)

I'm always looking forward to the challenges between Claudia and me, love to see with what my sweet blogfriend comes up with. She never ever fails to amaze me with all the awesome cards an projects she makes! I love and admire her work big time:-D This time our challenge is to decorate a gift or box. I've decided to use one of the little white bags Claudia has send me a while back ago. I adore Elina's bags but never had the proper little bags to make one of my own, I had a blast making one (thanks so much for the inspiration Elina *waving*)

 

I've cut some cardstock and designpaper and glued this on the bag, stamped TT Izzy (doesn´t she look cute on her bare feet:o)) my first Greeting Farm stamp, yippie!, generously provided by Nikki from Bunny zoe's Crafts and cut her out with an oval Nestabillitie and embellisht the bag further with ribbon and some flowers. As little present to put in the bag I've bought two scenteced candles(boy they smell lovely, I mean... a candle called "Apple Pie", yummie;-)) and wrapped them up in some cellofane. Now is this a cute little present or what:-)?

Wags 'n Whiskers, #2 Release Love

Yoehoeee vanaf vandaag beginnen de sneak peeks van de tweede release van de Wags ´n Whiskers stempels. En oh my Crissy Armstrong has done an outstanding job designing those new Love images!!! Mijn sneak peek is gemaakt met "He Loves Me" voor meer peeks hop over naar de Wag's 'n Whiskers blog. Het thema van de nieuwe stempels loopt alvast vooruit op Valentijnsdag maar de stempels zijn natuurlijk ook heel goed te gebruiken voor vriendschapskaarten.
